"Your first company probably won't be your last" I've been in the trade for about 6.5 years. Currently with my fourth company overall but with them for 4.5 years. I feel like when you're first entering a trade your priorities aren't the same as when you become established as a tech. Don't be scared to switch companies early in your career until you find a company that offers more than just money. Training, challenges, advancement opportunities, and most important in my opinion, a solid manager who you can build a good relationship with. Just don't go too far and be the tech who has a 3 page resume with a bunch of 3 month stretches. That person never goes anywhere.
