I think this is a conversation worth having...I am going to tag in new comers @Nate Adams and @SamTMyers as well. My house has 30k BTUs of cooling available and approx 66k BTUs of heating available. If the AC can handle the heat load in the summer why the need to double the heat output BTUs? Seems drastic. This could be a huge argument for modualting equipment as it's rare to utilize the full capacity of equipment all season long or in the rare off season chance it needs to run. Thoughts?
