I’ve been reading some manufacturer literature on worn sheaves. I see lots of claims that worn sheaves reduce efficiency by 5-10% My question is where does this inefficiency come from? Will the fan now move less air due to slippage causing more run time (and thus more wear on all other components), or will the motor amp draw go up, leading to just more wear on the motor
