The story... Pharma clean room unit had a condenser fan motor changed a month ago. Call came in (no cooling during a batch run) and the tech went and found the motor, or what he thought was the motor dead again. On the new motor replacement, the fuses blew again. It was discovered that the wiring itself was faulty. The wiring was changed and all was good. I have insisted that we megger all wiring to major loads, including the loads themselves on every PM, these units have 2 PMs per year and there are 4 units in total. By megging the wiring and the loads, we can establish a basline and then over time, look for insulation break down and hopefully rectify it before it becomes an issue. I have seen good reviews online about this Klein megger and it's a fraction of the cost of a Fluke. Just thought I'd pass this on...Happy HVACing #teachme
