Hey guys, I have a question. Got a true prep table with nameplate stating it runs 8.8 amps. plug it into a gfi outlet and it trips. I disconnect the compressor and it doesn't trip. No shorts to ground on compressor and resistance across the three legs are good. If I plug it into a non gfi outlet the unit runs just fine and gets to temp with no issues. My assumption is the gfi is going bad but when I plug in a different prep table that pulls 10 amps on the unit it runs just fine. Can someone explain why one prep table runs fine on the gfi outlet and one does not?
