In the spirit of just liking to know random stuff. Has anyone reversed the run and start windings on a PSC condenser fan to purposely reverse its rotation? If so how long did it last? I remember learning the rotation could be reversed back in the day after wiring one wrong. But I was always curious how long it could last if left that way if say the motor was the wrong rotation for the application itself. Apprentices...I'm not saying to do this, just a hypothetical.
