Working on this aermec 100ton chiller. It has been running well below setpoint sometimes and partially freezing the glycol to water heat exchanger. I have been using the trend function on the automation to pinpoint the issue. I have determined that it is the glycol modulating valve that is ramping from 50% TO 25% causing the chiller leaving water temp to drop quickly. Chiller should be shutting off but does not seem to be unit it hits a low pressure alarm. I found the antifreeze alarm set to -25. I have since set it up to 0c. Hopefully tech support will have some answers
