so I read/ heard some time ago that it would be beneficial to the longevity of king valves if we dabbed the valve stem with oil before we open them. is that something that y'all do? I've replaced a-lot of them over the years and it's inevitable it starts leaking when we're finishing a job! but it got me thinking (after I momentarily freaked) when this one started leaking when I opened it. there's no quickly recovering this system. (had to post pictures in a reply, they wouldn't attach to initial post) #teachme
