Most of my time nowadays is teaching my kids the ways of HVAC'n. Today we replaced an obsolete Taco BB series circulator pump for a building's boiler/cooling tower loop. Usually every 6yrs we swap these out and get them rebuilt. Customer doesn't like the price of new pumps, so not my bright idea. I was his helper and he pretty much handled this himself after doing the first one a few weeks ago. Straight edge, calipers and shims are your friends.
