Here is a life long safety tip from personal experience. Always let the home owner or store manager or someone know that you are working on the roof or on the side of the building or wherever the equipment is. If you take a long time to report in, have them check on you. Most of us are by ourselves with no helper. My mentor had a heart attack by his truck one day and laid there until the neighbor called the homeowner to tell them the tech was sleeping by the van. The home owner then called the company to complain. The receptionist had the smarts to call 911. He was already dead when the home owner checked on him. Be safe and let people know your there.
