I'm out at a local university to collect some information on a bunch of exhaust systems for a new maintenance contract. I was looking at this duct system and couldn't figure out why they would be using filters and water coils on an exhaust. Realized that they are energy recovery coils tied into the chiller water/boiler loops. Considering how old this stuff is I'm surprised they were even concerned with efficiency back then.
