A little Greenheck exhaust fan rebuild with added custom filter rack😅 from yesterday... I don’t need to explain why you can’t use a general exhaust fan to extract and remove saw dust...right?😳 Why an Urban Outfitters would have a woodworking room for the employees to dabble in is beyond me. The employee explained that “it didn’t seem like it was sucking too well one day so we just took off the bottom grille”....🤦‍♂️ When I was cleaning this bad boy out, it was snowing saw dust on me😒 I was reluctant to proceed with this fix but I notified the customer of their wrong doing and explained a dust extraction device was much more suitable for the space. They opted for the repair so best believe I quoted a few aggravation hours on this one. They had me come out to London, Ontario Friday evening a few weeks back for this. Head office felt like it was an “emergency” but the employees had no clue what was going on when I showed up. Apparently this wood working room is used maybe 6 times a year they said🤷‍♂️. Emergency?
