Took out the Klein ET600 Megaohmmeter today, thought it be fitting to check the loads on this Carrier 48TCFD16 after installing a phase monitor. I forget to mention that not only is refrigerant contamination a cause of winding degradation, but single phasing during operation causing excess heat across two phases breaking the winding insulation down furthermore is also another example. My Megaohm number reference is general. Ultimately, the manufacturer should be able to provide acceptable winding resistance values for you to compare with if you are ever in a bind. I guess you could say this is a bit of a #teachme video along with a look at another, Tool of the Trade.🤘 @bluecollarhustle you can see this meter in the works here, maybe help you on a decision going forward🤙 #hvac #hvacr #hvactechnician
