I finally got around to installing this three phase monitor to “assess” the incoming line voltage to my unit as I have been having odd problems when I am never around. I had found this Carrier 48TCFD 15 ton unit single phasing on 3 separate occasions, once a year actually over the past three years. Taking no more risks, I opted to install an ICM 450 phase monitor to ensure my control circuit is isolated when a phase unbalance or voltage deviation exists. Once the monitor senses “all systems normal” it will then countdown a delay on break timer before restoring power back to my control circuit.
