Anyone had any repetitive issues with a McQuay Slide Transducer Position Sensor failing? This one is the one without the calibration button. I replaced one on a circuit on a AGS250D back in September along with the cable. Circuit remained off for the next month due to it being low and needing leaks fixed along with a couple of other items. Well when I returned to do other repairs it was so far out of calibration I couldn’t get it adjusted back in. So I replaced under warranty. 3 months goes by with it running and it throws the alarm again, but this time it’s only out a little. So I was able to calibrate it back in or offset it would be the more proper term. Anyways now this thing is out by 53% which can’t be offset. I’m just curious if this is a issue with the microtech 2 or if it’s a quality control problem?
