I have a question. Im trying to help out a coworker on the other end of the state. He's got a large walk in freezer that we inherited from a different company. 2 condensers with 4 evaps. How would you handle defrost strategy? The evaps are staggered so 1&3 are with one condenser and 2&4 on the other. I'm thinking that only one refrigeration circuit should defrost at a time to keep product cool. He says evaps are about 8' apart so I don't think that hot air or steam would circulate to the operating coils. I typically just work on single system walk ins so this is a new issue to figure out.
