I really like this one. I tell my students all the time that they are embarking on a career that requires them to be lifelong students. You need to continue learning far after getting out of trade school. The technicians that succeed are the ones that continually challenge themselves to try new things and master the things they “know”. Only you know how at ease your are with a particular HVACR topic. If you are unsure of a certain aspect of the trade then that’s the one you should focus on and get comfortable with. Doing so often requires a substantial effort by the technician but in the long run you will be far better off than the tech that just barely squeaks by on that service call and doesn’t think twice about investing the time and effort into him/herself to really become a better technician.
