Installed a few iwaves this morning and got me to wondering how everyone else wires theirs. About a month ago we received an email immediate action notice from trans. They said to recent discoveries, do not wire air scrubbers, reme halos, iwaves or any other iaq product off of their transformer or eac terminal. If you install a 3rd party iaq product, it must be powered by their own isolated power supply transformer. They found that iaq products are producing noise in the electrical system. Issues noticed are,... ecm condenser fan motor not turning on or starting and stopping, defrost control malfunctions, ifc malfunctions or erratic operations, ecm indoor motor erratic operation.
