Summer is approaching us. There are a lot of these SS1 and SS2 #wetswitch or #floatswitch that are installed incorrect. You should be installing these AT the secondary or AT the primary evaporator drain port. You will NOT effectively trip on a overflow with this orientation. The top of the switch is open, or not glued, thus another liability for water to dump out on those bad clogs. If you have tandem drains this problem becomes 2x worse. DO NOT install these incorrect.
