Tech support says there is a way to reset the wiring for heads where it will correct itself. I believe it’s hold, wait, second option & then 10 minutes for it to do its thing. Anybody done this before? Carrier MGR series. For the record, we’ve had two outdoor units that threw up P6 codes. Our wiring was correct. The wiring from the harness to the board was correct. But after talking through with tech support, I switched the wiring & both times it has worked. So it looks like an internal issue. My thought process is if it comes up again, I’m using the wiring reset. It’s frustrating going back to the same place half a dozen times to try & troubleshoot a new unit.
