Went to go look at my girlfriends grandmas unit, when I get there everything seemed to be running right. She told me she took off the thermostat that morning and changed the batteries. I pulled it off the wall checked it everything put it back on and it was fine and ran like normal. My guess is a bad stat and I have one I’m going to put on tonight to see if that’s the issue. If anybody has any idea what else it could be other than the stat please let me know. Ps it’s an old trailer house downflow furnace. Thanks!
