Ok so compressor not turning on. Capacitor good well with in spec, all wiring is connected and nothing broken or disconnected, all pins on the compressor have continuity, I checked for resistance the start is 1.6 the run is 0.9 for a total of 2.5 together I also got that too when I took my meter and touched the run and the start together. So I figured it was out on compressor overload there is no switch to reset the ac is a payn so bassically it’s a carrier unit. I socked the compressor with ice cold hose water. For 15 min and tried starting it but it didn’t go condenser fan came on but not the compressor. I turned the thermostat to off and pulled the disconnect so it would not turn on. Client just message me a half hour ago that the compressor didn’t come on because it not Blowing cold air around. Oh I also checked pressures both the suction and liquid lines were at 213 psi or so. I’m going to get my schedule moved around tomorrow so I return to double check the wiring just in case I missed something. Before I condemn the compressor. If anyone has any ideas or insight into the issue I have come across feel free to respond. I’m totally stumped.
