So watching a video on RLS and the tech in the video shows that he cuts off the expanded section of the base valve where you’d normally slide your pipe in. So my question is it doesn’t look like he had enough pipe from the base valve to put the RLS fitting in but he does make a secured connection my concern would be eventually it would leak has anyone else done this or what would you recommend to do?
