Came across this today… Brand new R290, True Refrigeration, 3 door self contained fridge. I found the bottom half of the evaporator frozen over, defrosted it and started the system up again. After 30 minutes, the fridge only pulled down 4 degrees (21C - 17C), and the frost pattern started again. Due to it being an R290 system I couldn’t get my gauges on it to check SST and superheat. I did check for any restrictions across the filter dyer, all good. Just wondering if anyone has come across this before.
