I strongly believe as a service technician. It is better to be honest with the customer. Then to try and be the sales tech . The way I see it. Is it is better to have them spend the $150-300ish on a repair or service call. And have them as a repeat customer. Then to rake them over the coals and sell them a “new upgraded system” and have them regret there purchase cause it was rushed.
