All you cold weather installers: do you triple evac in subzero (Celsius) temps to mitigate potential fast freezing, especially on smaller diameter linesets? I'm usually dealing with new linesets so I don't usually bother with triple evac, especially on single port ODU because my pump usually pulls down fairly quick on its own and holds decay. Not today, pulling down less then 100 in 10-15 minutes but back up to over 1000 in same time frame. New gaskets in CRT, NAVAC setup on 5/16 GE side discharge (only one port, so can't get vacuum gauge on liquid side). Still suspicious of it or the vacuum gauge adapter but didn't have gaskets for that today. Also, I did a 500 psi pressure test as per manual with soap on all my joints. I lost a couple points but chalked that up to settling due to cold weather. Going back tomorrow to start again and look for microscopic leaks first, but trying to eliminate what's causing the bad decay.
