I had an issue today starting up a new trane air handler. After wiring my C,G,and R at the air handler, the fan would run continuously. Customer has a t9 smart thermostat, I switched out to a t4 and was able to turn the fan on and off thru the thermostat. Tried a new t10 from the van and the same issue. Fan would run continuously even in auto Mode with system in the off setting.
