Screw you! ⚙️ OVERHAULS: who does em'? Or, who finds them interesting and would want to? 🔧 Overhauls are a process performed on any type of Semi-Hermetic, or Open-Type Compressor. This could be a Screw (as pictured), Recip. Centrifugal... Overhauling is a process for replacing wear items such as bearings or wrist pins. It can also be part of an internal compressor inspection in a maintenance package (such as a "Top-End Inspection"). For me seeing the internal parts out on the bench massively helped with how the compression process works. ❔ Notice the male and female (too racey?) screws in the image below from a Twin Screw.
