Poor man's zoning... That's just a phrase people use for this type of set up. We installed 2 Ecobee Smart Thermostat Lites as they just launched in the fall and this was also a test site. We paired each thermostat on the 2nd floor with an Ecobee Smart Sensor. Chris can now see the bar temp (which he couldn't before) and can also adjust the temp on the fly without having to go upstairs.
